Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Had 6 different butterflies come through yesterday! Tiger ST, Black ST, a couple Monarchs, a Gulf Fritillary, a Red Admiral, and a wee White one....

Didn't get pics of all of them, but glad I had camera here>

Ah...lovely!!! I am jealous!!! We don't get those beauties this far south. So although Texas is #1 as the state for having the most butterfly species and the area I live in (Lower Rio Grande Valley) beats out all other states except New Mexico and Arizona...we still don't have some of the ones ya'll up north get to see :o) ~ and I considered Fort Worth 'north' :o)

Deb - I just LOVE those TSTs!!!! That is a goal of mine this year to try to plant more host plants for them in my yard. I want to see them laying their off-spring in my yard! Sounds like you and Cat are going to have some beautiful butterflies come visit you this year! I anticipate lots and lots of great photos!!! :-)
