Hummingbird house?

Lumberton, TX(Zone 8b)

I live in a fairly new development, and the delightful, insightful builders just took out ALL the trees in order to build (and of course levelled everything with sand) so there aren't a lot of places for birds to nest. The people behind me have a couple of young trees, and I've planted a weeping willow, three crape myrtles, two pear trees (I'll have to get a partridge at some point), 2 clementines, and a bunch of shrubs, but all too small yet for any nesting, of course.

SO... I've seen birdhouses and ladybug houses and bat houses -- is there something I can build for hummingbirds? One was just sitting on my trellis yesterday, having imbibed at the feeder, and I couldn't help thinking he was checking out the accomodations. Has anyone had any experience with this?

Thanks!

Oh, debnes, that's cool! Thanks! I just might build instead of buy, but that's the info I needed.
