I work for a grass seed company in the research dept.
We grew out these 'Azay Blue' fescue for a project.
Have about 1/2 of a flat left.

These would be good to grow for ornamental grasses. They do look green color now but later in its maturity life, they will be a pretty blue-green color.

So if anyone here would like the whole 1/2 flat, a clump of it, or a few seedlings, just let me know.

I would prefer to trade but if people want to do postage, I can do that.
I like fragrant plants, dahlias, perennials for the NW, etc.

Would like to ship them off this next Monday.

So let me know if anyone is interested in these. If not, they will become compost by Sunday night!

Hi, do you know how hardy they are? This week we are 20 degrees below normal-16 last night. Would need hardy to zone 4.

Willamette Valley, OR(Zone 8a)

Carol, I would love a small clump of this!

Albany, OR(Zone 8a)

Good question. You know, I really don't know. That is something I haven't thought of. Guess I have to do some research on this.

They are cool season grasses. They do survive our low/freezing temps. here in the NW. We do get down in the teens for days with ice.

If nobody is going to take these, they will become compost Sunday night!

Hi everyone!! Thanks so much for the warm welcomes!!

Carol, I just got a bunch of star of bethlehem bulbs, and grape hyacinth, they're really pretty. Do you have any interests? I'm sorry I haven't figgered out the lists yet........but I will soon!
Let me know....

Confusedlady: I wish I only had 1500ft to fill up!! I got 1/2 an acre with nothing but some of the nastiest, gnarly Caragana shrubs and stunted ash trees. Not even very good grass. I am having fun trading like crazy though.
