Every now and then the rarity of tortie and calico male cats comes up in threads here. I stumbled across a really fascinating page that discusses in detail this genetic phenomenon with plenty of tantilizing photos. Lots in information I've never read before, but it's leaving me pretty confused. I'm going to have to read through it a bunch more times before it even starts to sink in to some level of understanding.
