Wild Onions....how to get rid of these?

Houston, United States(Zone 9b)

Greetings Texans!

Anyone know how to kill the wild onion weeds? Someone told me they are a bulb so other than digging up they didn't know how to get rid of them---never found anything that worked.

It's great they aren't your standard pokey Texas weed but since they grow faster than my grass it makes the lawn look neglected when it's really not! HELP!

Are the flowers white with yellow anthers? Or pinkish? The white flowered ones are known as Crow's Poison, Nothoscordum bivalve. They are members of the lily family, thus a bulb.

Right now it is everywhere here on the ranch. It's actually pretty, but I worry that it might harm our cattle. Since we have to spray for broadleafed weeds, I'm hoping that the herbicide we use will kill it. Unfortunately, what we use, is not available to you unless you have a Texas Applicator's License. However, Image might work. The information I found only uses common names, but it's supposed to work on wild onions and false onion.

THANKS!

Yes they are small white flowers.
