i live in brooklyn ny- sone 6ish- i sprayed a copper spray during late fall and early spring-
I also plan to use an orchard spray throughout the season beginning in a couple of days.
while inspecting ny fruit trees this morning, i noticed that some of cherry, peach and nectarine trees seemed to have some type of necrotic process going on at some of the limb intersections. the nectarine also had globs of gunk on the trunk. The symptoms on the tree all look pretty similar.
this is a link to about 8 pics of the fruit trees- does anyone knows shats going on and the solution?

photos of gunk on my fruit trees- help please
so farmer- u r pretty convinced this is the work of a peach tree borer?
The lesser peach tree borer to be specific. It is a major pest in the east. There may be other possibilities, but I can't tell from this distance.
