I've been making my Standard Poodle's 'wet' food for about 2 weeks. I had purchased some IAMS canned (as usual) after 3 days he had such bad runs I took him to the vet. I knew nothing at that time and the vet shared nothing - even though I told him I had recently bought a new supply of canned IAMS. My decision was to put him on 1/3 lean, cooked hamburger, 1/3 cottage cheese and 1/3 rice ( something I've always done for his rarely occuring but sensitive tummy)
I'm now making his wet food. Can we share any recipes, methods, experiences? I find it so much fun and so positive that when I spoon some of the food into his dish and get it on my hands I can lick my fingers knowing full well what is in the food.
