I took Baxter to a different vet today. The vet ran x-rays on his lungs and said he's 90% sure Bax has lung fungus. To verify I would have to allow a thoracic flush (force liquid into his lungs then expelled while under anesthesia approx $500) then go on meds for 6 months (not cheap either).
Is anyone familiar with this? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
