Brand New Ponder

Porter, TX(Zone 9a)

This is our brand new pond. We got the rocks yesterday and finished trimming it out.

It is Mr. Prickle's baby. It was all his idea I didn't even have to ask for it.

I'm really excited. I can barely restrain myself from running out and buying goldfish.

Ain't it grand when hubby is on board with stuff and even starts coming up with great stuff all by himself! Mine keeps coming up with more ways to have more space for plants......can you imagine?! Welcome and congratulations on your new "gift" :o)

Oh boy I envy both of you. At least my DH will pay the credit card bill without complaint. He will look at the mechanical and installation side of things and arrange it so it is easy and efficient for ME to operate. :>) Boy, a brand new pond! So many possibilities with plants and fish and a seating bench and statuary and............. I have to stop here before I start thinking of digging another hole! Keep the pictures coming.

Love your new pond! You did a wonderful job on lining the outside with rocks. Looks like it has been there for years. Now the real fun part.....getting all of your plants and fish. Enjoy!

Wow - that looks awesome, the rocks look really really good!

Thanks y'all. The stone is Texas cork stone. We were lucky enough to find a place that sells stone for landscaping really close by and reasonably priced.

To be honest hubby isn't the handiest man around. Sometimes his projects come out a little less perfect than planned and sometimes I just gotta bite my lip and let things happen.

In this case it worked beautifully and he's very proud of himself. I can barely fit in the room with his swelled chest, lol.

Prickle, Your DH did good this time, your pond looks great. Now the fun begins with the landscaping and finding fish. Have lots of fun!!!

My DH will feed the fish. I guess that's involvement...
