I have driven over the bridge on 380 several times lately and it looks so much better, but it's still not enough. It's still about 8 feet below normal, but that's better than the 15.5 feet under normal it was in August. This time of the year it should be at "normal" though.

There was an article in the McKinney paper just a couple days ago. http://www.courier-gazette.com/articles/2007/03/30/mckinney_courier-gazette/news/bnews04.txt
Conservation Pool Elevation is 492 ft.

Whoops, can't even spell the name of the city I live in correctly.

Found the local for the Month of March here>

To check the total where you live go to Yahoo Weather and enter your zip code. Then Detailed forcast, then 6-10 day, then "month" in the menu bar....
Scroll down to the totals.

As far as I know, we Lake Lavon users won't come out of Stage 3 water restrictions this year (and I don't think that's a bad thing). But I am also hopeful that we won't go into Stage 4. As long as the lake situation doesn't get worse than 2006, I can cope ....

I got 1-3/4" of rain yesterday. And more is on the way. Yahoo!

Indeed Carla, Its pouring down here in Keller/Watauga.. Yeeeehaw!! I am so glad I raised all the back beds this year already!!!

Stop that rainfall count..... more rain is headed your way.

I agree. I can deal with three ... it's the four (stage) I dread.

The problem is the individuals who take 30 minute showers, irrigate their driveways and sidewalks ... you know the type.

I take great care in calibrating my rainbird so that the areas that need it - get it, and the areas that supersaturate quickly get less. But, I digress on a soapbox, I guess.

Stage three it is.

And will be for a while.

(how about one 15 minute shower a week for the summer) is that too much to ask? :)

Frisco, TX(Zone 7b)

wait a minute ... I just re-read that.

I meant one 15 minute "rainfall" shower a week.

I would be divorced under the previous statement's implications.

LOL sublimaze,,,,

I would draw the line at stage 3....However, I have actually wondered if continued and worsening droughts would ever bring us to such restrictions as how ofter we can bathe... yikes!
Hopefully this year's good rains will redeem us for a summer.

Still raining good here now..

Deb, yes, watering restrictions can do that (depends on who imposes the watering restrictions). They can also affect how you flush the toilet. Last summer we were on Stage 4 for several weeks. Not at all fun.
