my large cascade

Miami, FL(Zone 10a)

Here is another view of the cascade, it was easy to make, I did it
myself. All you need is a bunch of coral rocks or any other ornamental rocks
and start placing them together with taste and using cement to keep them from
moving, try to hide the cement as much as posible, at the same time placing
the hose up to the height you prefer behind the rocks, then you can use clay plates
on top of some rocks, cement them for stability and set clay pots with ornamental plants
on them. A wall of any sort, like wood as a back drop is ideal.
I used bromeliads, begonias, anthuriums and philodendrons, that gave me a variety
of color, shapes and textures helping to break the monotony of just rocks, make sure
to hide the water nozzle with a couple of rocks to get a more natural look.
Appliances as plastic pond, motor, hoses etc, can be obtain in places like Home Depot.
Size and power of motor goes accordingly to the height of the cascade.
There is nothing like singing waters and your favorite plants to create a relaxing
atmosphere.
If any questions, just write me.
