Up early

Well, I *thought* I heard a puppy crying around 2:30 am.....sat straight up in bed, listened, didn't hear it again, so got a glass of water and tried to go back to sleep after checking on Xena. Well DH gets up to go to work at 4am comes running in the bedroom to get up there's a puppy stuck under our fridge outside on the back porch. Stuck indeed. Wedged so tightly between the compressor and the frame, I tip the fridge (after emptying it) and he dismantles the frame, bend coils and about 30 minutes later delivers a very young puppy into my arms.....

So.... return said pup to some idiot who left it out at night? This puppy is really young. Not older than 6 weeks, has a docked tail and I'm pretty sure is a pit bull......

Gotta work at the barn today, go to the OBGYN, take kids to orthodontist....will be SUCH a long long day.....sigh.
