So excited

Lula, GA

Okey, so I couldn't wait for my last frost date and planted my first brug cuttings for the season!! Thanks to all who shared their cuttings with me last Fall!!

Maya, Adeline, Sunkissed (Yellow?), Super Nova, Orange Sherbet (sp), Pink Favorite and Rafaela. All nestled into my nice composted chicken litter.

Still no sign of my in-ground, over-wintered-under-heavy-mulch brugs!

This is so exciting!!

Congratualations Brenda, It is such a good feeling when they are all in the ground. And so exciting when you see those first buds.

My in ground brugs are just sprouting. Will have blooms before long on greenhouse brugs. I have hosta "nubs" Brenda,, can't wait til they come on up.

Thanks, Ya'll!! About photos- they're looking kinda pitiful right now! They are healthy but scrawny! I do have the hanging-on-the-ground blossom photos from last year that you get from above-the-Y cuttings, so expect more of the same this year!

Hi, Elaine- my hostas are all up, except for the late-comers- usually the blues. They are so fresh!

My soil is heavily mulched around my brugs and soil is still cold. Pulled back the mulch and dug up three give-away Frosty Pink to make way for Adora, Lexy, and Peanut or Ecuador Pink. No sign of any sprouting from the roots on the three I dug, so now I'm getting nervous for my beloved Cypress Gardens and some of the seedlings from last year.

Brenda, gnawing her nails in Georgia!

Good luck with them! I hope you get tons of blooms!!!
