Daffodil question

Will daffodils live if I plant them now? There is a trade for them that I would do if I think they would grow.

Well, daffs are pretty tough and I don't think it would necessarily kill them, but it would set them back and keep them from blooming for a year or so. If the trader could wait and dig as the leaves are yellowing they would probably bloom next spring. Otherwise I believe it would just be a matter of patience.
