2008 Update: the CCMG Plant Sale is April 19, 2008!
If you're in the Dallas area this Saturday, swing by the Collin County Master Gardeners plant sale. Tons of EarthKind roses, Texas SuperStar plants and more.
I worked at this sale last year and also bought a ton of stuff, and everything did really well.

PLANT SALE - Collin County Master Gardeners - March 31, 2007
Oh yay! Thanks for posting this TexasTam. I went two this sale 3 years ago and was just searching the TAMU Dallas website for details about it the last week. I could not remember who hosted the sale. I want to pick up a Marie Daly Rose and maybe a few other things.
That was a very good plant sale..well organized, lots of selection and nice volunteers. Thanks!
Yes, I took my friend and her husband and we really enjoyed it too.
bananna18, did you get the Henry Duelberg salvia? I was looking at the plantfiles page for it because I bought one and noticed you had seeds on your want list. I had about 3 stems break of on the way home and I am going to try to root them.
Thanks for thinking of me. I did buy one of the Mr and Mrs.I am sure you will have other takers. Good luck with the stems. What a great day!
I'm so glad y'all enjoyed the sale! I snagged a couple of those Duelberg salvias too - gorgeous.
I bought two roses as well. They are blooming already! Everything was in such good condition.
texas tam--will there be another sale this march?
I'm sure there will be...it's our biggest fundraiser of the year. Keep an eye on the CC Master Gardener website at ccmgatx.org for details. I'll also try to post info here when I get it.
thanks
I'm giving this thread a bump to remind everyone that the CCMG Plant Sale is THIS WEEKEND. April 19 from 9-3. Bring your own cart/wagon if you wish. Cash or check only. Coit Rd. just north of Campbell at the Texas A&M Extension Center.
While I haven't seen an official plant list for the sale yet, I'm sure we'll have our usual great selection of trees, EarthKind roses, annuals and perennials, mostly from the Texas SuperStars list. Look for sun coleus, salvias, crape myrtles, Mexican sage, Variegated Tapioca plant, and much more.
Big healthy plants at great prices - c'mon by!
