The landscapers have used red rock in our flower beds. Some of the azaleas are hardy and doing well while others are dying. Could the red rock be the cause? Do you know of problems that have come from using red rock with azaleas? We want to replace the ones that have died but do not want to waste money if they will likely die as well. Also should we consider replacing the rock with pine straw? Thanks for your suggestions.
