Jenna isn't going to make it....

Frederick, MD(Zone 7a)

If you've seen my thread "incontinence-it's out of control"--that's our Jenna. She was put on Proin 75 two times a day for her incontinence. After all the tests were done--nothing was confirmed--except she might be in early stages of kidney failure.

Yesterday, I took her to the vets to have her blood pressure taken (Prioin could raise it). While there I explained to the tech her symptoms--bad breath, wheezing, not eating as much--the early symptoms of kidney failure--I was told. The tech left--while we were sitting on the floor, Jenna yawned. Thats when I saw the tumor in the back of her throat I pointed it out to the tech and they called the DR in.

By the end of the appointment I was told it's inoperable. It will soon block her breathing even more and make eating impossible. The DR pointed out how stressed she was and that I shouldn't wait too long- I took her home. My 15yr old son stayed home from school today because he doesn't want to cry in class. She was his 6th birthday present. I guess there's nothing left to do, except to wait & see and to cry. Here's a snapshot of her sitting at her favorite place just yesterday. We're gonna miss her.
