Wanted: Rex Begonias and Mini Terrarium Plants

Buffalo, WV(Zone 7a)

I'm going to be posting my "available for trade" plants on here in hopes of finding Rex Begonias(mainly) or other mini-small terrarium and house plants. I do have wanted lists in my journal you can check out. I have quite a few plants in my terrarium that will be available for trade along with some gardening books and older Country Living magazines. Will post what's available on this thread within the next couple days so keep watching. :~) The pic is one plant that's available. It's in my journal under house plants.

I wrote out my whole list of haves and wants then while the preview was loading lost the whole thing! Took me an hour and a half grumble grumble grumble. :~( Too tired to repeat it now so will try again tomorrow. I do have the list in my journal under available for trade.

Aglaonema, Chinese Evergreen 'Silver Bay', have several rooted divisions. These are tall divisions about 12-18" tall, this plant is a bit pricey. Will need something special or several somethings for this one. Try me :~)

Begonia, Angel Wing NOID, rooted division, one only

Begonia, Rex NOID, leaf cuttings, can do two

Dracaena fragrans 'Janet Craig Compacta', the whole plant in pic is for trade. I don't seem to have just the right spot for this one.

Epipremnum, Golden Pothos, rooted divisions and cuttings

Epipremnum pinnatum, Golden Pothos, 'Marble Queen', cuttings

Fittonia, Nerve Plant 'Black Star', rooted divisions, a couple

Fittonia, Nerve Plant 'Red Vein', rooted divisions, several

Pilea involucrata, Panamiga 'Pan Am', rooted divisions, several

Polyscias balfouriana, Dinner Plate Aralia, rooted plant, one only

Spathiphyllum, Peace Lily 'Mauna Loa', large rooted divisions, several

Syngonium podophyllum, American Evergreen 'Neon', rooted divisions, one only

Syngonium podophyllum, American Evergreen 'Holly M', rooted divisions, several

Want: Mainly looking for Rex Begonias for terrarium and house. I'm a newbie with Rexes so no "experienced grower only" ones please. Also, mini ferns, mini African Violets, and other special mini terrarium plants. You can see a list of wants in my journal. I know there are many more plants out there I would love besides what's in my journal so tempt me ;~) I love variegated, colorful, and unusual foliage that are easy to semi-easy keepers.

Rooted plant for rooted plant(Rex Begonias may be an exception). Some of the plants I may trade several of mine for one of yours if it's the right plant. Or accept several of your plants for one of mine, whatever makes it a fair trade for both sides. I ship USPS Priority Mail w/delivery confirmation and I expect the same in return. I know most already ship that way :~) I prefer multiple plants per trade to make postage worthwhile but there can be exceptions.

Let's trade!

Thanks,
Lana

I clicked on your link, but didn't get nothin, so couldn't see what all you have and want. I know you grow hostas. Are they on the want list??

Debbie

It was just a link to the "Have" plants posted in my journal. Lets try another link http://davesgarden.com/journal/edit/index.php Of course you can reach my journal by clicking on my DG name :~) I can always be tempted by Perennials and Hosta! But the things I'm mainly looking for are listed above. Thanks, hope we can trade!

Neither one of those links work Lana as they are your personal journal pages. When I click on the last link, it goes to my personal journal page. Only way to direct people to your journal is by clicking on your name.

Thanks, Sue. I didn't realize the links wouldn't work. Yes, all you have to do is click on my name and go to journal.

Hi!
I'm interested in your Polysias, and maybe "Orbifolia 'Tropical Satisfaction", but what is it? Is it a Calathea? If so, do you have a photo of it?

I have a few things you might like...will have to get the list at home tonight. Only problem is I've nothing rooted right now, so if we agree to a trade can you wait for me to root?

TIA!

Buffalo, WV(Zone 7a)

The Orbifolia does look to be a Calathea. Orbifolia was on the tag at Lowes. Hopefully we can work something out Nan, Dmail me.

Thanks,
Lana

Pic of 'Tropical Satisfaction' Not a very good one I'm afraid.
