I have ajuga burgundy glow, but is the most invasive plant I own - terrible! It's very pretty with its reddish-burgundy and green foliage. topped by those pretty blue flowers, but I swear - I started with four plants two years ago and now it is everywhere! I would plant this with caution.

LOL thanks, I have a big area for it.

what cha want in trade for it

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

kathy_ann, are you using a digital camera? If you are, you may need to change the white balance (wb) setting.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

Yes, sometimes I can't fix the color of the blooms that the camera takes. I have to figure out where the wb setting is LOL

Braselton, GA(Zone 7b)

My leaves look a lot larger than those on your plants, here is the one you said might be "bronze beauty" blooming....

it's the same plant, Mine is usually larger leaved. It's definitely alot larger leaved than the chocolate chip.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)

I went back andlooked over the pics more closely, Most ofmy growth is new growth which is smaller leaved. b ut at maturity the leaves are usually much larger like yours.

It was just a couple plants last year, and now it's a big patch.

Well, who wants to part with some of their burgundy glow?

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 8b)

Kathy, have you seen this one, it is Catlins Giant, this is the first time I have seen this one I found it at my local nursery. I have other Ajuga's but this one is lovely the flower stalk is much larger than other Ajuga's. I have to go and get more of this.

I still haven't gotten anybody to trade some of their burgundy glow yet either.

Ocean Springs, MS(Zone 8b)

This is the only one I have, I have to buy some more of it for myself. I don't have burgundy glow or I would trade with you.

Judsonia, AR(Zone 7b)
