I have this crocus in my front yard, as well as some that are orangey-yellow and one (so far) that is white. I have never grown these, and there is a snowfall coming tonight and tomorrow (mixed with rain). Any idea which crocus this is, and do I need to cover these (and my tulips, daffodils and day lillies) for this snow? I've seen pics with crocuses coming through snow, but I just don't want them all to die! Thanks!
Crocus - Indentify and Concern
they will survive the snow fine- the petals of the ones that have opened already may get mushed by the snow, but they will not die- it happens here every year- two nights ago had a few inches that has melted by now, and the crocuses are still coming right along- yours looks like one of the crocus vernus varieties-
