What EE am I?

Athens, OH

Got this in Florida last week.
At first glance I thought it was a Brian Williams hybrid, but the leaves are too peltate (no arrow shape).

Ideas?

ROX

PS The leaf is ~ 12". The plant has formed lots of ohe (corms).

Very nice, all I find are the more common ones. There have been lots of Amazonica here lately. I find black magic too but have enough of both of those.

Thanks for the ID.

Can you share any info on its likes and dislikes?

Is it finicky like black velvet, which is prone to crown rot?
Does it go domant when temps get below 55F like A. cuprea?
Or is it more robust?

I put most of my Alocasia outside in the summer. Can it go outside?

Does anyone know the difference between the 'Mark Campbell' and my 'Purple Prince'? Mine looks awfully similar to Rox's plant.
