I love there Easter feathers, they are so cute, they really seem to be enjoying the weather. It's been so muddy here, my girls look terrible. It's going to be a couple of weeks for me to show some new babys, I should have a few for easter and this week I have some eggs going into the bator. I'm so excited, can't wait. DH candled the 3 eggs my good broody silkie mommy is sitting on and they are coming along nicely. The other silkie mommy is trying real hard to be a good mommy, she has been sitting on her eggs for a couple of days now. I'm not sure when her batch will be born, since she has now confused me.

Oh, she's a beautiful Chickie! We had trouble with exessive rain over the last few weeks in Abbotsford, BC, and my girls were tromping around in the mud all day, I have since had some sand brought in, and all is well, no more muddy feet, just fun on the beach :)
Will post pics of them when I get them into this computer.
All the easter chickies are so cute!

Thanks Becca & Eufaula. Becca, can't wait to see the pics of your new "beach" life! And unfortunately we are suppose to get more rain again Thursday and Friday.......UGH. Wish I could send this rain your way, Eufaula. I've had enough for now. Ready for some sun and nice weather for a while! Besides, my pens need to dry out and I need to mow my yard! lol
Here is "Angelica", she is a White Wyandotte and is one of my friendliest, sweetest ones in that coop. She follows me around all the time, hoping I have another mealworm for her!

Now She IS pretty!!!! I just love those fluffy feathers! She seems to be "modeling" her Finery!

Dublin, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I do my best to feed them well and take good care of them............the rest is UP to them! :)

I tried to get a good pic of my favorite Aracauna. She wouldn't cooperate, turn and say cheese. Guess she must be camera shy! lol She is the prettiest color of tan/brown/grey, with an overall "smokey" shade.

As you all can tell - - - I could just go on & on about my chicks. So glad to have DG's poultry forum so I can share. Thanks for letting me "show off" my babies! Well, enough for now, guys. GOTTA get busy around here. More later! lol
