still not up?

My lady in red salvia, blue plumbago, and bat-faced cuphea are the only things not showing signs of life at this point. Should I give up? I am fairly convinced the plumbago is a goner, but I really thought the other two would make it. Thoughts?

Bat face is the slowest to emerge of the cuphea's for me. Mine made it, I think. =)

Thanks....I'll keep an eye on it then. Any thoughts on the salvia? Thought this one was pretty hardy.

Lady in red is really an annual for me--but readily reseeds. I don't grow a lot of it just some to shade some Lycoris bulbs because its roots are really shallow and its easy to pull out (also needs nil water). I always thought of it as an annual--why? Who knows!

Kim, One of my Bat face cupheas is coming up about two inches already, the other looks dead. I don't know why it would be because they are planted within 2 feet of each other. my blue plumbago is just now starting to emerge.
I also thought lady in red was an annual for us. I just got some to brighten up the walkway and they are blooming nicely.

Hmmm....I looked up lady in red salvia on the plantfiles and it says they are hardy to zone 8a. But perhaps this winter was too much for them.
