Someone, can't remember who, wanted to see Tiger when I got him in soooooooo here's Tiger. This is before I removed leaves yesterday and repotted.

Tiger is one of my all time favorite violets and still proves itself as a consistent show winner year after year. Can grow very large and breathtaking. Enjoy growing your beautiful plant, baja.
Please tell me Debbie where you ordered this remarkable plant from?? I do believe it is the prettiest foliage ever seen on an AV...I am a beginner and started 25 new leaves today....so much fun...
Debbie, tell me why you removed leaves just to be removing them??? how would you know that they needed to be removed?

bettygail, when the leaves were gathered up to fit in a large cup for shipping a few of them cracked. They won't heal so I took em off. Once I remove the other 2 for the trade it'll be a rosette. I hope. LOL I have 3 leaves put down plus the 2 I left on for the trade. I got it from barbsviolets on Ebay. She sends great plants. Here's a pic of what I got from her this time right out of the box.

Mac's Dracula's Daughter is so full! I love it when they form that perfect rosette! They are all so pretty. My fingers are itching to buy online again!

Love 'Tiger' .... That Is One Beautiful African Violet! I've never bought on e-bay ... didn't even know you could buy plants on there until joining DG last October! Soooooo Tempting though, when I see one as nice as 'Tiger'!
I went to two AV shows in the past few weeks and Tiger was at both of them! Here's the one I saw at the Pinellas County show at Sunken Gardens.
Here's the one at the Tampa club's show. I bet you could win something with yours soon!
I really LOVE this variegated AV! I have looked in every HD, Lowe's and Wal-Mart in my area and cannot find variegated AVs... (it did cause me to buy three other AVs)... you bad, bad, influences! ;-)
