Acorn Squash

Last year was the first time for growing acorn squash in our garden. The kidlet has her own veggie bed and insisted on buying seeds at Big Lots. (We were there and she saw them etc etc) Anyway these ended up being the best acorn squash I have ever tasted.. We couldn't get enough of them. I know that things grown yourself usually taste better but was wondering if all acorn squash taste sweeter when they are home grown? We cook ours with just butter salt and pepper and they were amazing

Good question. I would like to know that too. I'm growing acorn squash for the first time this year myself.
