Any summer bulb sales??

I wonder if anyone knows from past experience any mail order companies that have summer bulb, tuber, or rhizome sales and when they occur? I am thinking of ordering some glads, dahlias etc. from Brent & Beckys but my order is small and a sale would be nice to get me to consider other things!!!

Walmart has caladium and canna bulbs 50% off right now for $1.67 per bag!

My Walmart doesn't even have all their bulb stuff in yet.

BigcityAl we are the same zone and no bulb stuff yet at Walmart or Home Depot or Lowes. Looking at the zone info pheitmeyer in AZ is a lot ahead of us!

I think I remember the sales starting in May last year...either late April or May. I went and looked back at my orders from last year and I ordered from Brent and Becky's on May 17 and it what I ordered was 50% off...I ordered calla's. So I would guess around then.....some stuff was already gone so you might start checking a month or so earlier. I'll be looking for sure!

Hey, have you seen 4paws' ad for gladiolus bulbs in the Classifieds Forum? I'd say 30 or 35 cents per fat corm counts as a sale. She did a fabulous job of packing and shipping for the recently concluded glad & lily co-op.
