Help: I need alocasia pollen!

Red Oak, TX

my Alocasia ridleyi is blooming. It has three blooms, and two of them haven't open yet. I want to pollinate it, but the first bloom did not have any pollen. Does any one out there have any alocasia pollen they wouldn't mind sharing?

I may have some pollen very soon. I would be interested in pollen as well if you get it. For it to work you would need to put the pollen in aluminum foil inside a ziplock bag air tight then put that in a ziplock bag full of ice. The ice will melt but keep the pollen cooler than normal. The cool temps will keep it from going bad.. I would also suggest very fast shipping. If you get a decent about of pollen then it would really be worth it. I will check my flowers today. But I think it will be a few days before they produce any.

I have some A. gagena pollen I collected 3 weeks ago. It has been stored in the refrigerator.

Rox,
that would be great! Do you think you can send it to me?

I was just about to say yes and ask for your address. But I made a mistake. The pollen that is left is from 2/14, not the second batch I collected 3 weeks ago. I feel terrible but I don't think that it will still be viable.

Brian- Do you have any to share?
