Wheewwwwwww!!! I got a lot of work done today! I couldnt wait to get home to my chickies ! I was so worried about them but like you all said they were just fine!! ( kinda like leaving them for the first time at day care,...uh!... oops.... that was my real kids, er children,) LOL!!!
the Mural is going real fast! I hope to finish by tomorrow afternoon! The Clients are real Jimmy Buffet fans and just love Flamingos, so the Mural is really tropical! Here it is at 11:00

That's beautiful, I wish I could paint. I'm glad your kids were ok while you were gone. I worry about my chickens when I'm away from home. I let them out today and went to clean my sons appartment and a rain storm hit, when I got home they were all wet and looked like drowned rats, got out the blow dryer and gave them all a drying. My silkies don't like snow, but they don't know when to get out of the rain, they sure were fluffy when dried. They are now settled in for the night, my DH thinks I a little off my rocker, LOL.

Awww Cathy, We do what we have to do , dont we??? We know these little guys depend on us and when we take on the responsibility for their care, that could involve a multitude of strange and wonderful things!!!

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

It looks like a person could just walk right into it and stroll down the sandy beach! Do you do this artwork on windows for holidays, etc? What kinds of chicks do I see there? How many?

Claremore, OK(Zone 6a)

Eufaula, do you have pics of some of your other jobs ? I would love to see all of them. You could start a whole new forum in the Patio and outdoors section. I know everyone would love to see your work too. It's absolutely beautiful. I'll be watching in that section, just in case you have some to share.

Eatonton, GA(Zone 8b)

Awww My my my!!!! You all really know how to make a girl feel speacial!! thank you all! I just started doing outdoor Murals and was surprised to get this one . I mostly paint canvases and generally just for fun or friends. I had posted some of my work in the artisans forums, and my crafts in the arts and crafts section! I'm always into something , Artsy Craftsy!!! I even had the honor of painting the cover on a friends CD Cover, " Buffalo In Snow", That is in the Artisans .
I painted this for my Dad. The photo quality isnt very good though!

Lewisville, MN(Zone 4a)

Kathleen, & Stan up in New York painted one of their sheds real fancy a couple years ago. I don't remember what it looked like. She posted it in the Farm Life forum.
They are dairy farmers.

Eatonton, GA(Zone 8b)

Too cool! Hmmm, this might start a whole new trend in Farm Life!

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

Bernie asked me to drop by with a picture for you all. Nice work, Eufaula. We just had some time on our hands waiting for the hay to grow one dry summer a couple of years ago and this is what we ended up with.

It's beautiful, Kathleen. I can't emagine farmers having time on their hands in the summer, but you sure made good use of it. Barn needed painting anyhow, right? Have any of your neighbors done any fancy painting?

Panama, NY(Zone 5a)

lol, no. One of the Amish ladies has a nursery where I drop some money every year - she raises great pansies - and last spring I was there and there weren't any other customers and she said, "Mrs Tenpas, I just have to ask you. All the other Amish ladies want to know what your barn means." I just laughed and said, "It means that Tenpases really are crazy!"

Eatonton, GA(Zone 8b)

Ohhh oh oh, I just got back on line!! How Beautiful ... and BIG!!! Kathleen , where did your inspiration come from and who came up with the final design? That had to take a lot of design layout! You all had a JOB!!!!!!!!

Monticello, GA

Hey Eufaula,, I am the guy that got the black Australorps from you. Thanks again ,,they are doing great!

Rose Lodge, OR(Zone 8b)

Hey, who's the cute guy raising Australorps? I gotta get back on Match.com and title my ad "Farmers only need apply!"

The barn is stunning.

Eufala, could we get a distance shot of the flamingo mural to see how it looks with the house? It's a nice-looking house but the grounds sure could use the perking up from the mural.

Sigh, another thread to bookmark. And I don't even have any chickens.

Eatonton, GA(Zone 8b)

Well Good Morning Turkey Beard, And welcome to Daves!!!!!! Looks like you have already created quite an impression! Im So happy to hear about the Astrolorpe babies! Two of my little Buffs went to a new home Saturday.
Summer Kid , Hi, the only Shot I got from the edge of the lake was at midpoint of doing the Mural! The home owners are in progress of building their new Home and grounds. While I was there , they were having a lot of work down on the "seawall" and drive so its a busy place right now! I will try to get another "distance" shot when the commotion settles a bit! I of course will have to get permission. Or Hmmmmm, a lazy Pontoon ride on the lake would be great this time of year! Hey any body got a boat?????
Kathleen, I guess I got my post up to quick yesterday! Now I see your second post,( I should have guessed from the first) Quilt Designs!!!! How wonderful!!!! Just fits in with Amish Country, farms, and "Welcome", and " Ya'll Come Back Now,Y'heah"! LOL!!!
