Hello PNWers. Here we are in Salem, OR, starting our little garden. 7yo daughter has her heart set on a Weeping Blue Atlas Cedar (Glauca Pendula). What we NEED is shade for the back half our house which faces dead south with no cover. I'm strongly considering some bamboo for that area, with Semiarundinaria Arundinaria fastuosa "Narihira" in the lead. But I'd also like an actual tree back there which led me to the Summer Chocolate Mimosa tree. I'm having a rough go finding anything online and will start hitting the garden stores quite soon. If anyone has any suggestions I am all ears (errrr..eyes?)
