I do not know where I have been in regards to this plant. I have not seen it! Do they grow outside where you live, PalmBob?

nope, but it can survive in some areas of So Cal (zone 10b along the coast)

Now I am wondering if this is the one HD sells in 5 gallon cans for indoors. They have a similar one though more yellowish than white variegation if I am recalling correctly. I have been mildly attracted to it though not enough to buy one or even walk across to it to really look at one. I need to look at them more closely next time I see them there to see if the same one. The huge trees of them are so intriguing. Though my next indoor tree like plant is going to be a triangle palm I have decided. If I can ever find one again that I can afford. I cannot live without one any longer.

So I have seen it in person, I just never imagined it as a huge clumping glorious tree. And poor me, I am too old now to get it huge and clumping.
