**Male kitty** question

Hi, I hope someone can help me...I want an orange kitty sooooooooo bad...but after checking all of the local shelters, all the orange kitties are male!! I know the male kitties spray!!
Will they still spray after being *fixed* ??
I don't know how to find out so am asking anyone who may know. Please, please let me know.
