Saint Patrick's day 2007

This one hurt.
I had just woke up again, two days before..

..when my gardens finally became accessible...

..and that THING occurred, pierced my heart.

Only a gardener would understand.

I know how fast it goes when it goes. But we had already weathered the floods,
(everything, well, septic, basement apartment), the mud pies.
I know we had a drought last March, killed my Dogwoods.
But.. this just hurt. I wonder how long til I see my paths again.

Here was the 15th, geese arguing, birds everywhere loudly, everything WAKING
including me.
