Hi!

I have several recipes but I'm not too impressed with any of them. Some are too thick, some are too thin. The recipe for Black Eyed Peas soup always comes out too thick.

There is a little restaurant, not too far from me that has one just right but it's a secret. It has a little shredded carrot in it and a little cayenne.

Any suggestions?
