An Invite

I ran upon something in the House Plants Forum that I have been having a lot of fun doing. A few weeks back Holly started a thread for a Rooting Jar Exchange. Anyone who was interested just signed their name to a list. It worked by each person mailing a rooting jar of some sort to the person whose name was directly below yours on the list. A few people even sent along cuttings to root. A lot of folks took pictures of their jars and posted them and some of the jars were very nice. The one that I received was almost square versus being round. That made it quite unusual. The cutting that was send is not beginning to root. That exchange has ended and another one was begun.

There is now a Garden Whimsy Exchange going on. The garden whimsy can be anything that is garden related. I thought of refrigerator magnets, pictures, plaques, note cards. There are a million things that would fall under this category. You can sign up as many times as you would like and you will receive that amount of whimsies and also will mail out and give that amount. It is so exciting to get something in the mail.

Since I don't know how to post a link yet, I will just tell you to go to House Plants Forum and look for Garden Whimsy Exchange thread. One of the threads is the actual list where your name goes and the other thread is a discussion about the exchange. I hope that those who might want a little surprise pick me up will go over and join in. I know that everyone just loved the rooting jar one.
