CLOSED: have: climbing peace rose bushes and madagascar trees

Reynoldsville, PA(Zone 6a)

i have at least 2-climbing peace roses i'd like to trade mabe a few more not sure yet. these are 2 year old really healthy bushes and are bi-colored pink/yellow. they have nice green growth with multipal brances up to about 14" i will try to ship the way they are but may have to cut back some of them as the spread of some of the brances will make it hard to ship and i don't want to stress them anymore than needs to. some have just opened leaves some should soon. some have 3 branches where as others have a bunch mabe 6-8 i'll have to look.

the madagascars i have had for about a year so they are 2-3 years old would be my guess. they are approx 2ft tall give or take not counting roots. sizes in diam vary all are healthy nice lush green with tiny red edging and most of the leaves are as long as the plants are roughly. i have at least 3 of them to trade. they have been container grown inside as they are a tropical here with very healthy root systems. i just had to repot them as they have out grown their pots and had to be seperated some i still need to seperate yet.

i would like to trade for different kinds of rose cuttings or other rose bushes anything non climbing. prefer to know what you have if you know the name so i can look it up or a description of it that would be great as alot of roses are new to me and i have alot of them so i don't want to get the same ones.

i will also consider other things for trade such as homemade items, other kinds of plants or cuttings, esp limelight or rasberry parfait hydrangeas, lilacs ect. if plants/cuttings i ask they are sent to me priority mail as they are time sensitive and i don't like to recieve stressed/damaged plants, sorry nothing personal i'm sure you appreciate the same in return :)

please d-mail me with best offers if you are interested in a trade.
thanks bunches,
silkie

i think i answered everyone again. if i miss ya just d-mail a reminder. since i was asked and had to look at tags i figure this will be info ya all need to know if you are interested in the madagascar's.

mine is called a madagascar dragon tree or dracaena marginata mature plant height is 6ft with 3ft spread. cold hardiness to 40 degrees F. it has sleander upright growth habit, easy to grow, excellent container plant with strap-like tropical foilage.

here is a search link to close up better pics of there kind. http://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images?p=dracaena+marginata&ei=UTF-8&fr=yfp-t-501&x=wrt i'm includeing a pic of mine but it's not the greatest as it's not a close up. this is my oldest son and the plant in the background is 4 trees in one pot.
hope this helps,
mary

"what's a madagascar tree? thanks. barb"

sorry i thought i answered you but the d-mail i just realized was from another member. it's basically a tropical palm tree from madagascar the last post was info on the tags. here is a little more info on it i found on the net. although i don't agree with temps fully. it has been below zero here with these potted inside at temps about 40 or so and they are fine they seem to be more green to me in cooler temps. also mine have never had any pests or problems other than needing dusting once in a great while mabe every 4mths or so it's not bad at collecting dust or anything.
hope this helps also,
silkie

Dracaena marginata commonly called Red-edge Dracaena or Madagascar dragon tree, and can grow to 15 feet in height, supported by a long, slender truck or "cane".

Its foliage is a near vertical to horizontal mass of narrow pointed green leaves with red to purple stripes along the outer edge. As new leaves emerge from the top, the mature leaves on the bottom drop away.

The Dracaena marginata canes can be grown straight to produce a tall plant with a compact "footprint" or be trained to curve, creating unique character plants. Several Dracaena canes are generally planted in each pot, often of varying lengths to produce a “fuller” specimen.

The temperature requirements for Dracaena marginata is a comfortable 75 degrees and the water requirements are low. Dracaenas are one of the plants used in the NASA Clean Air Study and has shown to help remove Formaldehyde.

Dracaenas have wide leaves that do accumulate dust. Wipe leaves regularly with a damp cloth to remove dust. Although most Dracaenas have few problems with pest, occasionally mealy bug and scale can attack the plant.
