A wedding in rainy Vancouver

Ottawa, ON(Zone 5a)

For those who might be interested, I've posted some pictures of my daughter's wedding which took place last Saturday in Vancouver. You'll find them at http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/701729/

We were fortunate to have ONE nice day while we were there and on Monday were able to take the grandkids to the aquarium. We seem to have brought the Vancouver weather east to Ottawa although we are apparently due for snow on the weekend. It was still, rain or no rain, a nice change from Ottawa which was having the coldest days of the winter when we left.

lovely couple and stunning dress. Last weekends rain set all sorts of records. Today it's lovely, sunny and warm, before the next system hits us.

What a lovely couple and yes, an absolutely stunning dress. Up island, we seemed to have missed the record rains. It rained but not that much. Today was Spring, sunny and beautiful.

Congrats Ann on your daughter's wedding. Her dress is incredibly beautiful! I saw the pic of your grandchildren all decked out for the occasion......quite a dapper little fellow is your grandson and of course we had a sneak preview of your granddaughter in her dress, but I loved seeing it again. Were they able to keep up with the festivities or did it tire them out?

Thanks for sharing,

Hi Erynne,

Nolan developed big blisters from his dress shoes which made him a bit crabby. My daughter was tired too. Of course the kids were waking each morning on Eastern time and their parents never got enough sleep; so they all packed it in somewhere between 9 and 10 in the evening. Amy's a trouper, but even she was tired.
