Fire Ant and Honey Bee Connection???

Eatonton, GA(Zone 8b)

I didnt know how to put in the link to my thread in the Wildlife forum! I should have actually put this scary info here in the Georgia Gardening forum.
I have Fire Ants in my yard , like every one here! When I went to eliminate them I found Honey bees in the , what I thought were new Fire Ant Mounds! Check it out!
Be careful to look in your yards and Gardens really carefully , for the tiny little mounds, they contain Bees! Please dont poison them like I Almost did!

Called the County Agent , they are a native Species of Bee Called "Mason" bees! They are very benficial and they do nest in the ground! They are not agressive and only come out in early spring! Now I know!
