Great photo ... I know how difficult it is to take a photo of the small blooms. I can almost smell them. :o)

Thanks! My new camera makes those extreme close-ups a snap (literally). :-)

Could you please advise where you grow them? Can this plant take Texas sun in summer?
thanks.

Mine are growing under live oak trees so they receive filtered sunlight and a little full sun. I am sorry that I do not know how well they can tolerate full Texas sun in the summer. Perhaps some else can answer your question.

Mine is growing at the southeast corner of my house. Half the plant receives only morning sun, while the branches protruding southward receive quit a bit of sun -- perhaps until 4 p.m. in the summer when a large live oak shades them.

For the first few years, those more southerly branches showed quite a bit of scorch in summer. Now that the plant has become more established, it seems to withstand the sun and heat better.

However, the cold spells in winter on the other hand... that's a different story. :-)

Mine haven't had any overwintering problems, but that may be because the are somewhat protected by the oaks. Plus, we are usually warmer than 8b.
