I bought dahlias. I've never tried to grow them. Have you ever tried and had success?

Good idea Knolan, I've always wanted to try Dahlias too. Since I don't know anything about them, 1/2 price is the best way to start learning!
They're so pretty, aren't they? Yes, can't beat 1/2 price for 'an experiment'....I have to try!
I have grown dahlias. failed the first year. the second year got blooms all season then they died back to nothing. I'm waiting to see if they will come back. This year (the third) I bought a few rhizomes thru the coop. They like water, not boggy conditions, but regular water for sure.
