everyone staring at marestare?

it's soooo quite! :-)
curious why just the end of that mare's tail is wrapped/taped/whatever. Checked Lady's udder again tonight and it's so full she no longer has nipples! Where as Allie didn't really have an actual bag until recently, she was all nipples. I'll have to get pictures to show how widely different they are.
I didn't tape the girls legs last night because of my nose (didn't really feel like bending face down or risking getting it bumped) and just hosed them this morning and they had no swelling this morning. I'm gonna slightly experiment to see if I can go every other day or every two days without wrapping them but still hosing them every morning. They still weren't swollen tonight so I skipped wrapping tonight but if they are even slightly swollen tomorrow, I'll wrap and then see how they are the next day and if they are fine, try going every other day.
I groomed them both today and spent quite a bit of time doing so. Took off their halters and got all the itchy spots. You should have seen these two, it was so funny. You'd have thought they were in a day spa or I was a drug they couldn't get enough of. I did Lady first and if I turned and stepped away to get hair off the brush, she followed me. When I finished with her and started on Allie, Lady was right there leaning up against me. At one point, I was standing on the small platform we put their hay on in their pen with a brush in both hands and one on either side of me leaning into me as I was brushing their necks...eyes rolled back, groaning and moaning, necks arched...they were just too much. When I was done, they followed me as I tried to make a path around them to get out of the pen I thought they were going to hold me hostage :-)
