Sylvia the first one looks like a Hollyhock or a Begonia, The second one is Goldenrod for sure, not a vine.
I gather that you are feeling better which makes me very happy.
Josephine.

The first one looks like my French hollyhock too. I have lots of those plantlets all over.I am not going to the CSRU but if anyone wants one I will pot it and send it down with someone.

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

I believe the plant in the first photo is Malva parviflora, Cheeseweed. Very prolific weed.

If you haven't planted Shasta Daisies in the second photo, then it's probably a common dandelion. There are several species of Krigia so it's difficult to tell which at this stage.

There is a possibility that it could be a Texas dandelion.

This one is interesting in that the flowers close mid-morning and produce huge gorgeous seed heads

Hi Sylvia! Hope you're feeling much better.

If you lose that plant, not a problem. It is a biannual and reseeds easily, I always have plenty!

Definitely going to CSRU. I'm really looking forward to it.

Sylvia, glad you got a positive ID on the hollyhock. I will let Dawn bring you one if that is ok. It does reseed easily.

Sylvia, you're more than welcome to follow me, or we could ride together if you weren't planning on staying the night. I will leave early and hopefully get to CS in time for breakfast, and will be heading home same day/ night.

... sound like a winner to me Dawn. I was going to spend the night with Smockette and drive myself home ... but being on the road alone frightens me.
BTW gang i am going to have a lot more plants that need identyfying. soon as they show somw leaves i will take pictures. i think i found all six of my vines. Sheila what was the name of that vine you wanted a piece of and someone gave you one? Also that little plant you gave me, i am looking for it. ...and my Texas star?
