Butea monosperma - FLAME OF THE FOREST

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

I bought these seeds off ebay. I'm so happy that I've started to use the coffee filter baggie method. Here is a picture of my little sprouts and here is a link to see what it is supposed to look like when it is all grown up: http://www.toptropicals.com/html/toptropicals/articles/trees/butea.htm

Thanks! I don't think I'll have a problem with the height since it will be in a container all the time.

I know that you will have it in a container-the question is how large does it have to get to bloom? If it has to have some age/height on it to bloom, then that is a pretty big container!

Hmmmm....I don't know...lol. I guess I better start reading up on it.
