Waiting for spring and cleaning the barn

Niagara Falls, NY(Zone 6a)

Spring is coming slow to central Indiana. We still have ice/snow on the ground from our storm weeks ago. Even though it was in the 60s yesterday, everything is melting s-l-o-w-l-y. It's a good time to clean out the barn and enjoy being with the horses even if it's too muddy and slippery to ride or train.

Here is a photo of two of my three horses. The mini mare is Jool (Little Dimond* Lil') and the big boy is D'argo**, my draft horse. The little one is full grown, the big one is ALMOST done growing. I hope.

*not a misspelling, she's named after Diane Dimond from Court TV
** named after a character from the Sci-Fi show, Farscape
