Newbie Query about Sunchoke Tubers

Ennis, MT(Zone 4a)

Hi,
I am new to the trading on DG and am asking for advice about my sunchokes, otherwise called Jerusalem artichokes even though they are not artichokes. I have had them in my big hoop house for several years and decided most of them have to go because they have multiplied to the point they are crowding my tomatoes, a big no no for me.

When I dig the tubers I will probably have around three five-gallon buckets. We eat only a few and I hate to waste them. Even after I plant some along the back fence I will still have way too many.

How should I approach trading them? And should they be in plant trading instead of seed trading? Where does a tuber go for trading anyway? A specific questions would be how many tubers should be in a batch? I have no clue. I just would like to do it properly so people aren't upset at me doing something wrong.

Thanks

I am certainly no expert, but I think maybe plant trading? Did you try posting over there or looking to see what other people have posted. I think that iris rhizomes have been over there as a trade item. It seems to me that most of what goes on in seed trading can fit into a 10x12 bubble envelope. I don't know if that would eliminate your tubers. Have you checked the veggie gardening forum with this question? Sometimes trades for vegetables get done on that forum as well...
