It's here, it's here, it's here!!!!!

Mesa, AZ(Zone 9a)

My greenhouse arrived in Phoenix today and will be delivered on Monday! I had originally planned to put it up in April when I knew it would be warmer, but with the weather going to be in the 90's by Sunday, I can put it up this month!! This is what I brought: http://www.4seasongreenhouse.com/sundog-large-barn-greenhouse-p-641.html

yippeeee That is so exciting! Congrats..... have a lot of fun setting it up. Your going to need a vodka martini to help you set it up in all warm weather you are having.

Oh Wow! Awanda ..... That is one Nice Greenhouse! You Lucky Gal, You! Hope it isn't too difficult to put up - I would be in such a hurry to get it constructed, I'd probably have it upside down or something! LOL. Can't wait to see photo's when you get it all set up .... it's beautiful as is, but it will be BLOSSOMINGLY BEAUTIFUL when you get done!

Have fun!

My hubby and neighbor will be putting it up for me. The Rion that I have now wasn't very difficult to put up, hopefully this one won't be either. This one is bigger and taller than the one I have now. I can't wait to get it up!! Bea you definately don't want to mix alcohol with working outside in this warm weather, nothing would get done! Joanne I will post pictures when it's finished!!

Wow! I forgot you said y'all are having temp's of 90 degrees already! We are in the 80's here and the humidity has been low, so it's really been a pleasure to work outside! I dread the summers when it's in the 90's here and the humidity is way up there too .... makes it miserable being outside unless you are on the beach!

What's it like at 90 degrees there? I know it must be awfully hot and you don't get a lot of humidity, do you? I'm sure dry heat and moist heat is STILL heat, huh?!

Sistah A - WOW - that looks terrific!!! Need anyone to babysit your hoyas while you put up the new greenhouse? I'd be more than happy to assist with babysitting.... Nice greenhouse, Awanda!! Karen

Ok must be gremlins at work, I know I responded already! Lin I would rather have dry heat over wet/moist heat ANY day:-). With dry heat at least you can sweat which cools you off, wet/moist heat is like walking around in a plastic bag to me! Starting in June through August it's really humid here, and so miserable. Bea alcohol and warm weather do not mix, nothing would get done:-). Joanne I will post pictures as the greenhouse is being assembled. Sistah K thanks so much for that generous offer, BUT I wouldn't want you to travel all this way just to hoya-sit:-)

Just wanted to make the offer....!!

Sweat?! LOL .... we do that a lot here in Florida in June, July, August, September and sometimes most of October! I sure hope when my hubby retires in another 7 or 8 years I can convince him to move to the Mountains! At least during the summer, then we can live in Florida in the winter time!

Prescott, AZ

Oh Awanda now you got me excited for the monsoons... Humidity, thunderstorms, lightning so close the hair on your arms stands up. WOO HOO.......... Do you have a fan on your back porch? I was thinking you could put them all underneath there until the new GH is done. Ya know this weather is going to go to heck don't you. Every stinking year it snows in April, and boom there goes the fruit... I'm being optimistic :)

Lin, you can come live in the Mountains with me and have your DH transfer to Embry Riddle over here. And just vacation in Florida. :) California and Mexico aren't that far away and he can always go boating there. Heck just have him dock the boat in Puerto Vallarta and I will boat sit for him.. Free no charge :) Really, I could make the time....

(Zone 1)

LOL Tami .... I have never been to Prescott, was wishing my husband could teach there for a semester or two, but they don't offer the program courses he teches at the campus there in Prescott. I have heard it's a very beautiful place! Having lived on the coast all our lives, I don't think we could be away from it for long .... not the West Coast .... spent a few months there in 1970 when he was in the Military! East side is for us! Hey .... I've never been to Puerto Vallarta either .... sounds like a plan to me, if he ever gets the big boat he's talking about at retirement!

Oh ... the Mountains I was referring of retiring to are either the Blue Ridge (NC or Va), or the Smokies (East Tennessee) .... love it there!

Awanda I think I am going to be in trouble!!!
