Guess Who's Back!

Yes! You got it....Gulf Fritillaries. I kept the Passion Vine under wraps all winter and it still has lots of foliage, and new Frits found it a few days ago. The first one was a male and didn't stay very long, but the girls came soon after, laying eggs like there's no tomorrow.

I need to check my PF then. One is a cold hardy and has loads of leaves now.

Sure hope I can keep up with them, lol. I went out and bought an "incense" PV yesterday, tho' it is dormant now,

I will take some cuttings today and get them rooted, then maybe the little GH will now make a good place to keep plants from being devoured before they have a lot of foliage.

Lots of new growth coming on the Blue Crown vine now. This is one very hardy Passionvine>

:-) Here we go again!!

Yep Sheila... You probably have some eggs already too.

You are certainly in business! I'm not ready for all the cats to get here yet tho. I do like a little break. My PV needs to wait until I get my lattice back up on top of my fence. Actually now that I'm thinking about it, I might want to wait and see where it comes up before I put the lattice up. Last year it came back down the fence in the wrong spot.
