Wanted: Red or Black Knight Butterfly Bush

Edinburg, TX

Just can't seem to get this to grow from seed...or cuttings. Does anyone have any plants they want to trade for small rooted Mexican Flame Vine (senecio confusus) or a well established butterfly bush for a large rooted Chalice Vine (solandra maxima/grandiflora).

Cat, I have both, but they haven't even begun to leaf out. They grow so easily from cuttings for me - I just stick them in the ground where I want them to grow, keep them watered and they take off. If you don't find plants, let me know and I will stick some cuttings for you.

Hey Cat
I have honeycomb yellow & one that Dr. Michael Dirr @ UGA gave me in January.
Though I'm not sure of the color or the name. I'll have to look up the name, gotta get it off the pot.
I'm working with my salvia's now. I'll be taking cuttings first of April, will gladly save some for you!
My specialty is gardening for hummer's & Bflies! See my trade list!
Got any milkweed plants?

I don't have the ones you named, bu if you are interested, I have a blooming size lavender butterfly bush that needs a new home. Maybe you need two new bushes, LOL Lou

Donna,

The only milkweed plants I have are those growing in my yard...and they are being used by Monarchs. Had a bunch of seeds but tossed them all out into the back field back at the ranch a few weeks ago. Sorry :o)

Dispatcher...I have two lavender colored butterfly bushes in the front flower bed. For some reason they just don't do well out here. They look quite raggedy. I've given up on trying to grow them and am sticking with natives like lantana :o)
