any dogs with cancer?

First time I've posted to this forum, but I'm looking to see if anyone else is caring for an animal with cancer. We brought my baby (5 yr old Corgi) home today from surgery to remove a tumor that had taken over one of his kidneys. We don't know what kind it is yet, so we don't know how much longer we have him. We should know by Friday. Good thing is that we have the Texas A&M University Vet School here to take care of him, and the chief of surgrey operated on him. I couldn't really find much on the net while surfing, so I thought I'd try here. They think they got most of the tumor, but there's always microscopic cells that stay attached that may spread.
