one our our plumies got left in the ground by accident. i forgot it was there and its been there all winter. the cold got it and everything. when i did remeber it the stalk was squishy. di i lose this one or will it come back from the ground up?? the others are in pots in the green house and this one got neglected.

The one in the ground is a goner, I bet. It won't come back from the roots. If there is any good stem left with three or four nodes and with no mushiness or rot, there is a chance that it can, but since plumerias are only hardy to Zone 10, I would say it is very likely that it didn't survive. I'm glad you have others in pots in your greenhouse.
