Hi, during the recent frost, all of my clivias sustained frost damaged. As I've never had this happen, I'm wondering if I should just cut off the dead yellow ends, or what else can be done? You can see that I've got a bloom coming on this one, so I'm assuming the plant itself is okay. I'm just not sure whether to cut, or how to, in order to maintain and improve the health & beauty of the overall plant. The second pic is my clivia that sustained the most damage.
Thanks,
karen
Question on frost damaged Clivia
I'd just cut off the leaves that are really damaged, and trim just the dead areas/ends of the rest with sharp scissors or shears. You could even trim leaving a 'rounded' edge so they look more natural.
